How to choose the best Chiropractor in Savannah

Choosing a chiropractor

Chiropractic is a profession with a wide variety of practice philosophies and techniques, which makes it a challenge to select the best chiropractor.  One chiropractor might be the best for one person and not for another, as some people may respond better or worse to different chiropractic techniques.  Finding a chiropractor with a good rapport in the community is a good step, because if many others have been happy with their results with that chiropractor, then there is a good chance you will be, too.

We have two chiropractors that were both trained at what is considered the number one school in the world for chiropractic.  Our doctors each know many techniques and also both practice a little differently from each other.  So, there is a very good chance that one of our doctors will find a technique in their practice that works very well for you.  We also have a good working relationship with other specialists in our community, so if you need more than we can offer, we will refer you for conjunctive care with another specialist.

This article outlines questions to ask when interviewing a chiropractor and provides guidelines for what to expect of chiropractic care. It also highlights some red flags that may indicate questionable treatment approaches.

Recommendations for a Good Chiropractor

In general, if multiple people recommend the same chiropractor, chances are good that the chiropractor is reliable.

If a chiropractor tried to hard sell you on a very long care plan, whether prepaid or not, it is probably in the chiropractor’s best interest, not yours.  We don’t sign people up to six month care plans, because there is no way you can know how each individual person will respond to care.  Treatment should be custom tailored to your issues and the treatment plan should be flexible based on how you respond to care.
